Come join Christine Conley-Sowels with three free Genealogy sessions at the Remus Museum. Bring a laptop or tablet, if you have one.
1) Session One – Family Search and Ancestry 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26 to learn about the free Family Search ancestry database and fee based Ancestry.com. Whether you are a beginner or expert you will learn information to further your family genealogy.
2) Session Two – DNA and Genealogy 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24 Learn about how DNA testing can help you make connections in your family research, understand the privacy issue s related to DNA testing and decide whether to complete a DNA test.
3) Session Three – Genealogy Do-Over 1-3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28. This process will help you review, evaluate and update your genealogy information, correct misinformation and faulty data in in your family tree. Bring your genealogy collection for review.
